Hospitality Manager - Germany

The role takes lead responsibility on behalf of inter-touch for managing the day to day relationship with Hotel partners in a defined region, and or regional Hotel chains. The role encompasses both Account Management and Technical support responsibilities. The key focus is in delivering “value” to our partners by understanding their Broadband Access needs and providing inter-touch solutions. The role holder will act as the company “Ambassador” and “Customer Champion”, both internally and externally.

Location: Germany

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Demonstrable operational and/or account management experience, ideally gained within the hospitality industry. With the ability to work at regional and international client level
  • Practical knowledge of Internet and communications technology including Linux, Unix, Cisco Routers and trouble shooting of Global Networks would be desirable
  • Self starter with the ability to work remotely and integrate with a regional team

Sales Manager, Europe & Africa

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the annual European sales plan and growing the overall business in the region. He/she will increase market share, drive revenue, exceed targets and manage regional hotel chain partner and local hotel partner and client relationships.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • A proven track record in technology sales - particularly relevant is experience of selling Internet related technologies and services

Graduate Training Program

Training Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

We will provide formal and on the job training. Our infrastructure relies heavily on Linux and networking, and the training program will focus on introducing this operating system and the associated skills set that will permit trainees to make a positive contribution to the organisation as early as possible. South Asia Operations Manager

Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

Responsible for the management of three areas of the business; Pre Sales (30%), Projects (40%) and Field Engineering (30%). This includes conducting Site Surveys to support the Sales Process, managing the installations of new hotels, managing the operation of each location, and managing the resolution of faults in conjunction with the NOC and Help Desk. The role should also ensure that field staff are equipped to carry out their tasks effectively and report on all activities. Close liaison is required with the Operations Director, Global Network Manager, Help Desk Manager and the Sales force. Supervises Field Service Engineers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and other required countries, distributors and 3rd party contractors where applicable and Projects in the Region.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years relevant experience and 3 years in a management role.

Procurement Manager

Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities for this role include ensuring timely purchasing of direct and indirect materials and services to support current and new projects, establishing proper inventory control management in compliance with company guidelines, driving cost reduction programs by conducting periodic cost negotiation with suppliers, managing and maintaining vendors/suppliers as well as developing and maintaining an extensive base of quality and reliable vendors/suppliers to support production requirements. The successful candidate will negotiate all contracts from the perspective of securing the best possible cost to performance ratio and best value with vendors, act as the primary contact for suppliers on new and renewal contracts, develop strategic relationships with our major suppliers, conduct supplier selection, appraisal and management procedures, take the lead role for implementing and developing negotiation strategies, and improving on existing contract terms and conditions with suppliers.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Degree in Manufacturing/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Materials Management/Business/or Engineering with at least 3 years' relevant managerial experience in a manufacturing environment, or Diploma in any of the above discipline with 5 years' relevant managerial experience
  • Candidates with hands-on experience in setting up and managing procurement activities are preferred

Field Service Engineer

Location: Global inter-touch network of offices

The Field Service Engineer is required to provide 2nd / 3rd level support to inter-touch's global network / sites and to mentor Associate Field Service Engineers. The successful candidate will be required to be On Call 24x7 perform shift work, provide installation support and enhancement of inter-touch's Sites, handle support calls with minimal delay, minimise customer downtime, maintain Support database with up-to-date information, test and roll out new Internet based applications for the sites, perform upgrades and apply patches to Operational Systems where appropriate, complete appropriate projects or site forms , provide in-depth technical and application knowledge to the customer base, including on site. The role will also require flexibility to 'Parachute' to client sites anywhere in the world, if required, provide technical support and engage in booth duty at trade shows, participate in special projects and perform other tasks as required and have expert knowledge of inter-touch products.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Formal Qualifications in IT and Networking including certifications from Microsoft and Cisco
  • Hands on" knowledge of Internet and communications technology including Linux, Unix, Cisco Routers and trouble shooting of Global Networks
  • Extensive experience in Linux & ISP support

Network Products Specialist (Technology & Innovation Dept)

Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

The Network Products Specialist is responsible for identification, assessment and development of network related products, technologies and supporting architectures to enable the offering of new products and services to inter-touch customers. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of networking technologies and will be expected to contribute to the various streams of technology development and make recommendations on how these may be configured or enhanced. The role entails intimate involvement in the end-to-end development process of new innovative Broadband Internet solutions. The Network Products Specialist is expected to be competent in quickly understanding future technologies and commercial opportunities, managing complex relationships with stakeholders and delivery of results in a challenging environment.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Degree in Engineering/Information Technology/or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 year's relevant experience
  • Expertise in telecommunications technologies, network architectures and networking products is required
  • Technology consulting, hospitality/telecoms industry experience would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated 'hands on' experience with networking products and network topologies in general
  • Extensive knowledge and exposure to current and future Internet technologies

Technology & Innovation Analyst

Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

The role of the Technology & Innovation Analyst is to take ownership of various new Innovation and Technology project plans encompassing market research, technology assessment, recommendations for commercialisation strategies and execution. The critical KPI for this role is the successful implementation of technology programs/projects. The role entails intimate involvement in the end-to-end development process of new innovative Broadband Internet solutions and the Analyst is expected to be competent in quickly understanding future technologies and commercial opportunities, managing complex relationships with stakeholders and delivery of results in a challenging environment.

Experience / Knowledge Required:

  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology preferable with minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Technology consulting, technology market research and/or hospitality/telecoms industry experience would be advantageous
  • Expertise in telecommunications technologies and services including in mobile and fixed/wireless Broadband convergence and in emerging technologies areas is preferable
  • Broad IP industry exposure and dealings with new emerging technologies
  • Demonstrated 'hands on' operational experience in a similar role would be advantageous Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with commercial as well as technical teams

Technology Program Co-ordinator

Location: Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur

The role of the Technology Program Co-ordinator is to take ownership of planning, development, co-ordination and execution of various Technology & Innovation project plans - ensuring successful and on time delivery of key milestone deliverables by cross-functional teams and external partners. The Technology Program Co-ordinator will be responsible for cross-functional task management and also for regular project reporting to the Head of Department.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Administration/Management or similar with a minimum 2 years relevant working experience
  • Project management background in the IT industry with exposure to telecommunications and Broadband technologies preferred
  • Demonstrated 'hands on' operational experience in a similar role would be advantageous
